It keeps the motor from moving as much during hard acceleration. Its a good way to help with launching.

Couldn't hurt, its just that the 2.2 isn't as prone to wheelhop as the SS/SC is.

Do a search and:

Go with a solid engine mount you will SEE 99% of the members that had the Ingalls and switched to the Turbo Tech Racing solid engine mount, stated they would never go back to the Ingalls.

No, most will say after about 500 miles, the vibs on the TTR mount is equal or less than the Ingalls.

If you have a manual the TTR Mount will be a direct bolt up and take about 10-15 minutes. Also it comes with color instructions, and is done with basic hand tools.

According to aaron the engine mounts are better. Even though its a TTR product i trust his word because he sells the ingalls as well, either one will be doing him business, but he is just being pure honest when he says the Solid works better.

Does both work for the 2.2L? I want the new mounts, but don't really want it to end up like my cavalier did. Every light you stop at makes the dash rattle like a v8 with a bad motor mount?

If you have the manual tranny it bolts right up. We are manufacturing one for the automatic, it is not quite done...

yeah i was thinking of getting the solid mount, but for the deal i got the ignals i couldnt refuse, but f its any consilation to ttr, i have ur tranny mounts , i still dont know where to put that ttr decal though, the way its made, kinda hard to find a spot for it where it wont look out of place....

ps- will def. upgrade to the full later on thsi year, and still keep the ignalls on it, mainly cuz the ignalls fills that void the stock box leaves

ignore the AEm decal, i put that there wheni got the aem dryflow filter, got rid of it now
