is it possible to put a SS S/C tranny instead of a LS for more power distributed to the wheel???

I wouldn't think u would really make anymore power to the wheels with an SS tranny, but u would have extra strenth for more power and better gear ratios for racing.

They are not different motors. The SS's major difference, other than the S/C, is the crankshaft has a shorter stroke, hence the 2.0L displacement rather than 2.2L. Other than that, they are pretty much the same.
