I found a cobalt in a salvage this weekend and was wondering how hard would it be to change my auto to a stick tranny.

 

Pretty hard.

 

Would I need to do anything else to the car

 

lol, a friend of mine did a manual tranny swap, took him a week to take it to the garage. lol.
what i mean to say is unless you really know what your doing, judging by your question you don't (no offense) i really wouldn't tackle that big of a job.
also my friend knows a **** load about cars, and it cost him 600$ at the garage.

 

I have someone to do it but just wondering bc i rather drive stick then auto
