Tranny Issues

hey all,

got a question for anyone who can help me out.....

Ok, so recently i lost 2nd gear in my car. What happened was i was driving through town and 2nd started to slam out of gear oon its own driving normally. now it only grinds and bangs when i let the clutch out in 2nd...

Well ANYWAYS whats im really trying to ask is, Is this an easy fix or should i just buy a new/used tranny and go that route?

Thanks a **** ton

No, not a easy fix. If its slipping out of gear, its more than likely a synchro issue. You would need to seek a transmission oriented shop or dealership.
