Trifecta

Hey everyone, I'm new here and I am seeing lots of talk about Vince @ trifecta. I'm part of the l61 group who have them as our only option (not that it's a bad thing so I hear). Just wondering how I can get a hold of him, and also if I can do my own dyno tuning after I purchase the cable

I went with trifecta regardless of the Vince talk because I had someone local who could tune me and communicate with trifecta. I found this thread helpful https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/tuni...cations-86603/ . From what I was told Vince does research and development and Steve does the tuning now. If you find a local tuner you wont have to buy the cable.

Trifecta

Trifecta and Vince are impossible to get ahold of anymore. You have to go through a third party like BNR or a local dealer.

My trifecta tuner data logs me and retune for me all the time, he has no problem getting intouch with vince and I have no problem getting in touch with my tuner. Hell, he was at MY house logging my files just last week. And I got my logs back within 3 days

Does anyone have knowledge of a dyno tuning facility, that can use Trifecta, and is in British Columbia?

there is no need for a dyno tune, with trifecta you datalog on the street and he will make changes to the tune from the datalog file you send him. if you are intrested in a red ez flash cable for sale.

Your best bet would be if you have a local trifecta dealer who could set up a live tune with trifecta. Without one you would probably only be able to datalog on the dyno, send the log(s) in and wait until a new calibration file is sent to you, which could take an unknown amount of time. In that situation you would have to wait until you receive the new tune before you should dyno and datalog again for more changes to be made to the tune.

Oh ok then, I think I'm starting to understand how this works... does one have to pay for the tweaking of the original tune after the data logging stage? Sorry I feel as tho I'm asking stupid questions

once you are done datalogging and they are happy with the tune then it is complete, any changes after cost money(like changing intakes, fuel injectors, fuel type ect..)

I have a question regarding how to datalog. I was thinking i log like if im running on a dyno, but we have an auto and how do we keep it in 3rd?

Or do we just do take offs from different speeds?
