Tuned From Trifecta

I wanted to finish the tuning process completely before i posted anything. Just got done working with Vince from Trifecta for tuning my 07 2.2. He removed all Tq management, adjusted the a/f, bumped my rev limiter to 7000, removed the speed limiter, advanced timing and made the car a lot more fun to drive. We are currently working on the launch control and no lift shift for the car. I just got done testing it out, works like a charm. My car is running much stronger than before, fuel milage is insane, and revving to 7k is just too much fun. I would Highly recommend that anybody wanting a perfect tune call Vince.

i think it would any serious tuning requires a little extra. i think no lift shift would fit that bill.

Whats need to be programed for lift shift in a na car? I know on a turbo its to hold boost butwhat on a na car, i mean why not just not lift the right foot and shift a tad before redline?

I tried it on my car, and personally would rather not have it. I know how to launch the crap out of my car, and ive never met anybody who can shift like me. So i dont need it. Just working with Vince and testing it out. Im sure theres tons of people on here who would love it.

Yeah i was talking to Vince today after i tuned a LAP VVT, he mentioned that you were testing it out.

I would like to have it just cause, Hey I have NLS and LC with OUT the WOT Box
But i cant get the NLS cause I only have one Clutch Switch

There is no reason really has no point. Only to improve shift times, the only benefit is with a F/I car. it just so happens that Vince is wanting to test the NLS on a 2.2 to see if it works. if it works with the 2.2 then it will work with the 2.0 2.4 etc etc.

But only on the 07-09 NLS and LC works. cause those years have 2 clutch switches. he 05-06 only has one so I can only have the LC which is beneficial

Got it. Thanks.

Last time i was under the dash i looked and was pretty sure i saw 2 switches on the clutch peddle. Onfor the rest postion, atthe top, and one for the clutch in, at the bottem. I have an 06. I know one is the start what would the other be for, cruise cancel?

How much of a gas mileage increase did you get?
