if you buy the cable or go through a dealer (this is the cheapest route) you can tune first, mod later, then retune for free when you mod, as long as you don't go FI or do cams. I also recommend getting a 2.4 TB for your 2.4 intake manifold, it will open up the bottleneck that will be your 2.2 TB. You can get one for less than $50 from a junkyard (I found one in an online junkyard for around 40).

by itself, no, but with a 3" intake including the MAF tube (stock for you guys, an option for ion owners that requires tuning), the intake manifold, entire exhaust on 2.2s unless your car comes with the LSJ exhaust manifold (only 07 ions do, not sure on cobalts) and the 2.4 TB make all the difference in the world. One note, you need to tune to accommodate the TB.

Well if you look at this link above..you get everything you need for like $250. (For a 13hp gain-possible...that's a helluva deal)

thought taht was pretty cool of him

and he let me keep the tuner for a little longer.
he is a good guy, looking to get your car with the best tune it can

is it worth it to bump the rev limiter to 7000 rpms? i guessing it would be good since the 2.4 manifold gives you more power after 4000 rpms but id like to hear some opinions cause if its worth it i ll do it when i get my tune
