opening this thread back up, those who have the UDP we need feedback as this is still a new product that not to many people have.

i didnt buy the new belt...just got one from anapa...why pay 40 when you can get one for 13

 

So how many miles has everyone with an underdrive pulley put on their cars since installing it? Any issues with it? Any oil leaks? Just asking cause i think i might invest in one soon

 

Roughly 500 miles, no leaks, no issues.

lol i put 500 miles on in maybe a week or less haha.

 

i got my car in july of '06, and it doesnt even have 25,000 miles yet...course thats still like 1000 miles a month

 

haha 10 grand easily...i even have two 12" infinity's with a 1600w infinity amp and all is well

 

ha i got my 08 in early august i just hit 4300 miles lol yay for short NY commutes

 

well since were ono milage talk ive had my car for a year and 3 months and ive got 6700 miles total but i think now its the time to start modding. i believe a udp is coming soon

 

Well i guess i must just drive alot cause mine is an 06 and i have just about 59000 lol One question for anyone that has installed one of these: where did you get the new bolt for the pulley cause i believe i read you need to replace it and what do you need to torque it to?

 

74 ft-lb torque, i did not replace my bolt and its running just fine.

 

New bolt: any GM dealer or crateenginedepot.com...PN is 11589123 (bolt and washer assy)

did i see someone say that the pulley didnt affect their large stereo? I was looking into getting the udp but i think id have to lose my subs and amp

 

um not sure, but they just released a lightweight alternator pulley to help with some of the strain on the accessories this may solve your problem or you could always get a cell capacitor and that would help too.
