Upgrades

Sup guys, I've had a 2005 cobalt base 2.2L for a couple months and I've done a couple upgrades, I'm looking for more hp and performance for now. So far I got a AEM CAI, Exhaust, front and rear sway bars, springs, I'm doing the headers pretty soon and I'm looking for a down pipe. Any ideas will be appreciated

LSJ header/downpipe, 2.4 intake mani and then tune

you're looking at around $200 in parts and then $250 for the tune.

Time for sum upgrades!

Ok, i'll start by saying my 06 LS cobalt has served me well for about 90k. Yea...it might not be very fast...but it's definitely not the slowest thing on wheels! Of course my 94 z24 5 speed would leave this thing in da dust...but i still smile at that good gas mileage that the cobalt still delivers. I'm still amazed that this 4 banger is still eager to get up and go when it needs to. Most old sckoolers remember gm's 4 cylinders might be peppy when new...but performance dwindles down the closer you get to 100k on the odometer. Not the case with this ecotech. I might need sum injectors though from using cheap gas but thats about it. Now my questions! Will this motor hold up if i nos it up, cold intake and put on a decent exhaust??? I want about 200 horses if possible without rebuilding the motor. I'm looking for the most economical way of achieving this goal and retaining everyday drivablity. Also if anyone knows where and how much it would cost to either supercharge or turbo this thing i would appreiciate it. I'm lookin to just be able to drop the car off and pick it up done. I'm too busy to really tune and try to fabricate stuff so i need a couple listings of sum good installers and their prices. I'm located near chicago... but will drive a state or too for a good price. I think 50 horses and sum more torque would really make this thing move and surprise people!

Sorry dude for hijacking your thread! MGD is gettin to me!

ZZP has a new supercharge kit out for the 2.2/2.4 cobalt. So if you buy that you'll be over the 200hp range no problem.
