No cobalts have ever used a distributor and you dont need to use one even if you choose to run the msd

i understand that, but msd makes the dis2 and 4 in a distributorless set up as well, so i was hoping to use the dis2 distributorless model. only issue im seeing is that to do that id have to use a crank trigger i believe since the factory crank (58x) uses the hall effect. would that not be correct?

DIS2 would be for the 2.2 02-06, the DIS4 would be for any coil on plug setup

as far as either setup you do not need a distributor
