what about with e85 and a trifecta tune? I think i'm going to go with stock compression but i'm still open to suggestions. i have the same turbo as kx but mine isn't the extended tip.

The design is actually different for the two. Stock are flat top and 8.9 is dished.

honestly if u want a suggestion take mine especially since we have the same turbo mine just has a bit more pull up top. But my suggestion is 8.9:1 due to it being safer and it daily drives just fine.. if u want to talk ricer numbers my 60-100 is 3.8-3.9 seconds so she has some ***** without a doubt and thats low compression so i have all the torque i need

That's exactly what I said(ie. compresion difference), but you stated it wasn't made for boost and that statement was completely wrong.

Kx your right most due but do you understand why? Its not because you have to in order to run a large amount of boost, its for safety reasons. Its parts of the reason most factory forced induction come with low compression stock. Its all centered around the limitations of your tune and fuel, low compression allows you to run more boost and more timing with a larger safety net in case of knock on pump gas. When we through alternative fuels into the mix though alot of this can be thrown out the window, e85 and hybrid pump/race gas mixes change the game. There is logic behind both. Its all personal preference for the cards you are dealt.

I gotcha man haha I'm not saying ur wrong at all and my biggest persuading point was that it is safer lol I said if ur tune isn't spot on that things can go bad quick but ya you can do either or just my opinion is to go lower compression for the multiple reasons I mentioned the biggest being extra safe and him having an extremely low chance of breaking something once he would be fully built
