I bought a 2006 Cobalt LS 2.2L. I have added an AEM CAI and a DC exaust, what else would be some good upgrades? And should I go with the Turbo or a S/C?

 

Turbo when kits available. Not much more 2.2 can do with bolt ons...

turbos a good idea but you bought the wrong exhaust to use with a turbo, dc is only a 2.25 inch and it will work but you wont be able to use the turbo to its full potentil until you have at least a 2.5 inch exhaust, but the intake with the garrett turbo kit coming out you should still be able to retain that if it comes out the way they have advertised

 

pacesetter makes a header at turbotech.com kinda cheap....but its a header. how does the dc exhaust sound...like a buzzing honda or a kindy throaty

 

the DC exaust sounds very good, no were near like a buzzing honda it is a nice kind of throaty sound.

The 2.5 Could be OK for the turbo if the Cats were punched or swapped for Higher Flow
