Wat upgrades?

Hey guys coming here in spring time I'm Gina be looking to do some upgrades to my Balt... I'm a complete noob engine upgrades and my question is what upgrades give you horsepower? I'm not necessarily looking to do a 300+ hp car I'm just looking for wat upgrades add horses

Of course I know turbo and sc but that's not really way I'm looking for kinda just looking for easy to fairly difficult bolt ons that will get my hands dirty and give me some power

Thanks in advance guys

CAI, 2.4L Intake manifold and throttle body, header, downpipe, and a catback are your fairly easy bolt ons.

The stock downpipe pretty much has the most restriction out of the exhaust.one place on it is as little as 2" diameter while the rest of the exhaust is 2.25".so a new downpipe you'll definitely benefit from

ooo ok i got ya so would it be a better result/decision to do the header downpipe and a catback all at once? if so what size i see alot of people doing 2.25 but others doing 3 and 2.5?

ok since we got the easy ones what would be considered a harder bolt on?

I definitely recommend doin all at once.if your not goin FI you can go either 2.25 or 2.5.if you go FI then 2.5 or 3,depending on how much power your planning on pushing.that's pretty much all the bolt ons I believe.you could run nitrous,I hear that's not too difficult

Ok so best bet would be to go 2.5 so that if I ever wanted to run fi my exhaust would be fine maybe that's what I'll do

Yeah I would just start with the easier bolt ons like intake, header, downpipe, and exhaust. Other mods like 2.4 intake manifold and 2.4 throttle body require a tune after there installed, so I would do those mods last along with a trifecta tune or hp tuners.

Ahh ok I saw someone mention cams in another thread wasn't sure if I was able to do that too but I think I'll start with wat was mentioned and go from there maybe then down the line do cams and the 2.4 intake and get a tune from there should be a nice Balt then and after that maybe I could save money for some type of fi
