My dad has a 2005 cobalt sedan and it threw a code. P0700 - transmission Control system
im not in the states right now overseas and trying to give him an answer on what to check.
So any ideas.

p0700 means thetransmission control mdoule has found a problemand reported it to the engine control module. you need to access the TCM to find out the real problem, P0700 is just a "message"
