wanted to see if any other 2.2 felt this...i've done some races were i pull the other car from the launch, than around 4th gear i see the car from my side mirror just creeping up on me and passing me up, and i feel so helpless, my foot at the floor, theres nothin more i can do, and it kinda sucks to see that happend...i took him all the way to about 80ish, and now he's gunna pass me up...thats bull...i feel like my 4th is so weak, so doeas anyone else feel it?

 

my 4th is gear is nice...of course that means im at 110 mph...

 

4th is your overdrive gear im pretty sure so its a 1 to 1 gear ratio so it should be weaker.

 

I have a 5-spd...5th is my overdrive...

well, your asking for a nice 4th gear on a car that has about 130whp give or take. 4th gear isnt going to be that great man. throw a 50 shot on it if you want some more kick.

Yea. I was wondering the same thing. Mine runs me up to about 130 kmph.

 

i have a 5 speed standard...and i was racing a scion Tc

 

Can't really say much about 4th. The fastest I've ever gone is winding out third at the track. However, it doesn't really help that the 2.2 falls on its face past 5500 rpm's.
