depends on options. 2800lbs for a NA coupe would probably be the lightest. Unless it was a stripper car.

dry or wet? You gotta figure how much gas is in it, oil, coolant, power options, sunroof, etc.

Edmunds lists the curb weight for the 2006 Cobalts as:

Coupe: 2991 lbs
Sedan: 3216 lbs

GVWR for the coupe is 3874 lbs (rated capacity with people, luggage, etc.)

Does this link work for you? if it does click on capacities for the curb weight (no passengers, full fuel tank and all fluids)

Cargo and load capacity limited by weight and distribution.
Capacities Coupe Sedan
Seating (front/rear) 2/3 2/3

My temp plate for my loaded sedan was 2907 lbs. so any coupe will be at least somewhat lighter.

Curb weight, estimated (lbs.) 2,681 2,747 (coupe sedan)

Probably the base LS with crank windows, no spoiler, etc.

no the sticker tells you how much your car can carry as a load. If our cars really weighed that much we'd be running with pocket rockets.

Why say 3000lbs? Its just not true. 2800 and change for your car. Sort of like saying X car runs 15.0---when it really runs 15.3

Every hundred pounds makes a noticeable difference. Be exact man!!
