weird engine noise

i dont have a cobalt, i have a l61 sunfire with the supercharger kit. i wasnt sure on what sectioin i was to put this on but...

everytime i step on my gas it sounds like i have an exhaust leak but i know i dont. im not sure on what could be causing this noise. has anyone ever encountered anything like this. i had just gotten a tune on friday and up until tonight it hasent done anything like this. im boggled

Check the whole exhaust system while it is running. Maybe you can spot the leak. I had a bad leak when I first installed my header. It sounded like a Model T.

well unfortunatly i found out what it was last night while driving down the highway. i have a pacesetter header with that shitty design that looks like a ball at the end and apparently the bolts decided to let go on it going down the highway at 120km/h

ouch!!!!

those kinds of ball and socket flanges (thats what the type you have is called) need lock washers and have to be checked after its allowed to expand and contract for a bit to make sure its still seated and what not...

yeah i got it all fixed now. cut them flanges off and put normal flanges there
