What header should I get?

I just canceled my C/A header cause they are taking way to long to ship it.

I want to know about the long tube headers such as vibrant and zzp. Does anybody have one of those and if not what other header would be good for a non forced inducted LS automatic. The zzp comes with the downpipe as well and it's like 300 bucks but that's a little cheap for a header and downpipe.

Also should I go 2.5" or 3" with a weld in with the downpipe. I'm getting custom 2.5" tubing from the downpipe/header (depending on if i get just a header or both) all the way back to the muffler.

I was thinking this:

1 3/4" primaries, 3" downpipe (no cat), 2.5" custom tubing all the way back to the muffler.

Whatcha think?

the vibrant stuff is nice but if you are n/a then it is a little over kill. I asked the same question not to long ago and was told to look at clear image stuff. they are a more expensive but you get good quality.

Thanks man, yeah so now i'm stuck between zzp and vibrant. zzzzz all i know if that vibrant is more expensive but i've read a lot of good reviews on them. And btw does anybody know the measurements of vibrants primaries/collector/and downpipe. Haven't been able to find anything on that.

I am a little rusty on this but I think the Primes are 1.75" and Since it is a 4-2-1 you dont have a single merge collector like the 4-1 although I believe the 2-1 collector on the vibrant is 3". Also the Header is a long tube design which replaces the header with a shorter 3" tube.

So would I be correct if I said vibrant hdr/dp would be more along the lines of force induction rather than non-force induction?

Correct-O-Mondo!

Maybe the 2.4L, but definitely not the 2.2L though.
