What next?
What next?
I just recently installed a Nitrous express kit on my 2.2 LS, what do you guys think I should go for next?
1. lowering springs.
2. Intake
3. Catback
4. Performance tires and rims
5. Internals (forged pistions ect.)

intake dude, deffinately, i would not do springs till some good performance struts come out, you don't wanna go bouncy bouncy down the street. I would get a INJEN intake if i were you, I have heard some great things about them and also if you live in someplace with the posiability of floods then you can turn it into a SRI in the winter and wet months and use that CAI when it is warmer and dryer out. Also, i would hold off on the rimms and tires until after you lower it cause it makes the cobalt look funny if it is ridding high on some nice rimms (4X4). Most of the CAT-back exhausts that i have heard make these cars sound like civics, i think that is just something that we will have to live with because they are both vertical inline 4cly DOHC engines, That being said I do like the Corsa Touring it sounds nice. I would not step up and do the internals quite yet, they should hold till 250 hp, so take advantage of that.
Yeah so deffinatly go with a intake then do springs when some good struts come out, then hit up tirerack.com for some nice rimms and rubber, then get a corsa touring exhaust, and then if you do FI and end up going above 250hp then replace those connecting rods and pistons, Oh and don't forget to replace that clutch if you go above 170 hp, better to replace that **** before it blowsup.

This is a lot like buying a suit. Do the most expensive thing that you can currently afford. The internals would obviously be the most expensive. But if you can afford that now, then do that now. Work backwards from there.
what all did you get with the nitrous kit? you could pick up some nitrous accessories if all you have is the kit.
if you're not running over a 75 shot you wont need the internals
what I'd do next is intake/header/exhaust or springs/wheels/tires

) So exaust, intake, headers, suspension and wheels and tires. The internals can wait till next summer if it comes to the point that they have to. I am hoping to accomplish all of these upgrades by the end of the summer or at least by the time next summer comes along just in time for race season Thanks for the imput guys/girls (<--playing it safe
