wideband/interceptor questions

idk if this should be in some sort of noob section but ive had a nyrm dual gauge pod installed with some fake ass gauges and im tired of it, almost fully bolted(just need catback), have a 2.4 tb ready to install and will have my new cams soon.

so i was wondering.

1. what exactly does interceptor do? ( from what i understand it scans different readings of things and its possible to adjust with it?)

2. what type of wideband would you recommend ive heard good about aem and innovate

3. im a ricer with a blue car so any possiblity of blue lighting in gauges?

4. thanks for any and all responses

i feel so dumb for asking but i searched and ug makes me wanna bang my head on wall lol

If you don't have any performance mods, such as SC or TC, then the guages are useless.

these tools are priceless for tuning period regardless of how you ingest air. search the manufacturers sites they pretty much lay it all out for you. i'm running an areoforce and a aem ugeo.

A lot of our customers go with the Single Interceptor and the AEM Wideband, we have had a lot of good luck with them.

aeroforcetech.com
aempower.com

Or contact us if you need more info

They work great for people who have modded cars. However if you have a gauge pod that needs filled they work great too

I agree, but for a basic engine with bolt-ons they are useless.
