would i need tuning if i got the 2.2->2.4 intake manifold swap??? b4 u say anything about searching, i did, i came up w/a 20 something page thread which i didnt feel like reading thru for just one answer, so yes or no?
No. I had no problems when I installed mine. You just have to remember to disconnect the battery for a minute before turning the car on so the computer can get used to the new manifold.
That being said, I un-installed the 2.4 manifold because it hurt my powerband. Others have had decent results with it though.

I lost mid-range torque (quite a bit at times) between 3500 and 5500 rpms. I gained 9 whp at the top of the rpm range, but that isn't too usable. Some of the guys on here think that it could be due to the 05's and 06's having different fuel maps than the 07's.
Here is a comparison of before and after the 2.4 manifold:

Again, others have shown better results than this, so I'm not saying that what happened to me will happen to everyone that gets this manifold. It just didn't seem to work for me though.
I've heard that it works better for the 07's, but I haven't seen anything definitive. Look in that long thread about the manifold swap and see if you can glean any numbers from it that you can compare.
