wrap your minds around this

okay so today i installed my cobalt addiction s/s header. my cobalt has the shitty sai system that most of us know very well and despise very much so. i am getting a tune so i did what anyone else in my position would probably have done...i removed the sai system fully aware that i would throw a cel after i finished the installation of the header...well i started this whole thing around 2pm...prior to this i drove a total of 15 miles normal highway driving so the car was hot..i let it sit til about 3 pm and started my work...finished the header and whatnot after bullshitting with some friends and taking a drink break or two or three (gotta love alcohol lol) i finished the header around 6pm...now i went to start the car and turned it on and waited for the cel to come on...waited...still waited...still waited...surprisingly after 3 minutes of staring at my gauge cluster i did not throw a cel...im pretty sure the car would have been cooled down to the point where the sai system would have turned on...so im a little puzzled...anyone think they know what might be going on?

I would wait a day or two before I call it 'confirmed'.

wait till tomorrow morning. the ecm probly has an internal timer that won't try to turn on the pump and check the system untill it sees a certin amount of time off.
