zero emissions cobalt??

I apparently have one and a new fuel pump is gonna be 600 usd, this seem crazy to anyone else?

I'm an 08 l61 and when I ran my Vin it said nothing about being partial zero emissions vehicle... any one else got info on these?

so spark or fuel pump, definitely not the battery. sat in my driveway for a few days then pulled it to the shop right around the corner from me because it was closest. I didn't order fuel pump myself from rockauto because I couldn't find a straight answer on which one to get.

so you had it towed there? Is there a community college in your area, or any schools that work on cars? I find them to be a lot more trustworthy

if by towed you mean strapped to my friends truck and pulled it then yes, closest college like that is about 15 miles away so not really an option if I can't get it there

the thing is I do trust these people, Ive got deals on mounting and balancing tires there and we chatted after. I don't think they're trying to **** me, well maybe on labor, but they're not trying to fix extra on me for more cash

Alldata only gives me one part number for the pump. Are they trying to sell you the whole canister or what?

Global Warranty Management.pdf

Has California emissions

GM PN 19167186 Fuel pump, $375.94 (customer pay price at my work). This is just for the fuel pump itself though, not the module as a whole, same setup as my LS (mine is also Cali emissions). The module on these can be disassembled and just the pump itself replaced compared to others that require the whole module.

The module as a whole will run somewhere between 500-700 on these from what I've seen, parts guys left before I meant to check for exact price.
