2.2L Muffler delete?

Has anyone ever tried this? have any videos? i have the cobalt "sport" so it has the SS exhaust on it and tip, i just wanna know if it will sound decent. I like the sound on ss/tc's but i dont know if it will sound a lot different?

it probably wont sound anything like the ss/tc unless you also have a turbo to quiet it down.

2.2 NA will be loud and buzzy and probably sound worse than some of the honda's i hear around here lol.... i still think you should try it though just for the sake of innovation

first idk... the sport....was a 2.2... but regardless... to make urs louder without putting 500 bucks....just get a 3 or 4 inch muffler they go for a 100 and sound pretty good... then put that on. also get urself a header but with intake and muffler u should be good... if u want really loud well u gotta pay thats the thing man sorry...

I personally prefer the header back ss exhaust on my 2.2. Sounds deep, gargles at the bottom end.

i got a ss/tc catback for sale with a aftermarket resonator and megan racing muffler if youre interested.

but honest opinion, i wouldnt do a muffler delete. it would just sound retarded.....much like a car that sounds like its going fast but is goin nowhere. you dont wanna be the entertainment of the town lol
