Ok so i hear so many sides to this question, Will i gain hp from putting on a 2.4 le5 intake mani on my 2.2 lap? I usually hear yes it will because its bigger or no it wont because the 2.2 lap already has the 2.4 le5 mani! So my question is which answer is correct? thanks

The LAP does already have the 2.4 intake manifold.

both answers are correct...
we have the 08 style le5 manifold. the pre 08 manifold is the one the l61 guys use and its ever so slightly bigger you might gain 2-3 hp but not enough to really notice.

 

Honestly, these cars are so much of a dog from the factory that nothing other than forced induction is going to make it like a real car.
