2LT body appearance package

i was wondering if the 2LT's optional body appearance package makes it look the same on the outside as the SS, thing is, i want an auto tranny, and you cant get the SS in the auto, but i love the way the SS looks

edit: just realized i posted this in the wrong forum XD sorry bout that

You could get the 2.4 ss coupe / sedan with an auto tranny your just SOL for the supercharger/turbocharged (with the exception of the turbo SS Sedan) models.

Not anymore, there used to be for 2006 and 2007, same for 2008 but they called it Cobalt Sport. The 2.4 is now gone from Cobalts and G5's but the 2LT Sport Appearance Package can make '09 2.2's look like 2.4 SS's of old sans the badging.

There is no boosted Cobalt either turbo or supercharged, coupe or sedan, available with an auto tranny. You can buy an '09 2LT with said package and a 4-speed auto, IMO you're better off buying a low mileage '08 Sport auto though. Identical looking vehicles, cheaper/slightly more power in the latter.

The Kappas have 5-speed autos available that are supposed to be a tad quicker than the stick. But c'mon, who wants an auto! :

I dont think that the 09 SS's come in automatic because that was the big deciding factor in my getting my 09 2LT, it was an auto, and the SS was a stick, I just didnt want the hassle.

I got the VQF SPORT ACCESSORY PACKAGE, on mine. You can order this with an automatic. The only differance is the rear spoiler is the standard one and not the ss one. You can however buy the ss spoiler and swap out with the stock one.
