300-350hp

im going to build n turbo soon. im looking to get around 300-350hp. im wondering what all should i do to build it? pistons rods studs head gasket? what compression ratio should i get? is this kit good?

Wiseco Pistons Eagle Rods Ecotec 2.2L 8.9:1 86mm | eBay

also what stage clutch should i run? will stage II+ be fine? or should i run stage 3? any recommendations of brands?

that kit is for a 2.2L, but yes pistons and rods and you should easily be able to support up to 400 hp. i would also buy valve springs and retainers to up the redline a bit and make more power. you are also going to need at least 60s for injectors.

the biggest problem with those 2.2's is the crank..... cast cranks dont hold all that much.... but for the power you are looking for, you might be ok

Nothing on zz's springs, but I would go Supertech valvesprings.

Super Tech Chevrolet Cavalier - Cobalt Ecotec 75lb Valve Spring/Retainer Kit - Engine Internals - Turbo Tech Racing, LLC

or

Cobalt & Ion ---> ZZ Performance

Dont listen to this guy... Take it from someone who has a 2.2 in your power goal already...
