alright.. im going to be building my motor n/a.. but i want to build just a head separately so i can just swap it when im done building it. problem is.. i cant find a head anywhere. and i dont wanna pay up the waaazoooo at my dealer. i wanna do everything.. valve springs, cams, port and polish. etc etc.
nd i know the lap is still kinda new so there isnt really any spare parts out.. that i can find. if anyone knows where i can get my hands on a head it would be awesome.

 

It's newer but not so new that you shouldn't be able to find one in a junkyard. Did you check car-part.com?

Don't even think there is cams for Lap

 

u can do cams but u need to get the sensor pressed in...DONTTT do cams in a 2.2 just save urself the trouble plz. and dont build the motor at all if u are staying NA its a big old waste of cashflow to still be slow as *****

Have you tried contacting ZZP? I know they have LNF heads listed brand new, and for a reasonable cost. Maybe they can get a head for you or sell them?

 

I have a LE5 head for sale, same PN as the LAP head....comes with cams/valves/springs, has 40k on it.
