catless 2.2
alright so my i have a cobalt 2.2 07 wit a catless header back exhaust. it sounds like **** i kinda got to thinkin wouldnt it be better performance wise if i got a high flow cat because i'd have a lil back pressure and since i dont have f/i itll'd give me some more bottom end torque ?
dam wrong 2.2 section my b

In my opinion anything bigger than a 2.25" (GMPP) exhaust you will lose alot of low end torque on a 2.2. And there is absolutely no need for you to be going catless.
The 2.2's and LSJ motors dont need that much breathing room. The LNF would benefit the most from a more free flowing exhaust system.

yet i know people with a 2.5'' and its plenty breathing room and gives you a hp increase of 10-15hp. On the torque im not sure, but a 2.5'' is good, i just wouldnt go any further or else you will definalty lose back pressure and hp if you're N/A

Not a whole lot if any. Maybe 2-3 hp. It will just sound nicer I guess.
