doesnt make sense
LAP>l61 the l61 onlt makeing 132whp/134tq and the LAP is a wopping 141whp and 146tq. the LAP has the same intake and exhaust mani ive checked. we have VVT in the LAP much like the LE5. and slighty different internals and valves. the 2.4 mani will give an increase in power and so will the lsj header. the LAP is the vtec of our cars once i hit about about 2500-3krpms it spins faster and accels faster. i own an 09 ls and my bud owns a 06 ls both stock i beat him by about 2 and half fenders
the lsj mani will show no gains... compare them. lol the early manifold will show a little difference if any at all. i think our biggest gain would be the early 2.4 tb. i am not positive... im done with basic bolt ons.
its almost $3000 haha my lnf turbo set up will cost 1/3 of that if not less. and the way things are looking i might need a custom manifold
vvt isnt even close to v-tac lol

If you do end up needing a custom manifold, it needs to be a twin scroll manifold are the turbo is going to feel poopy.
ive got the turbo, and universal tubing and ic. waiting on a gasket to see if i can use a lnf manifold or have to have a custom one made. thats all i have so far... more to come
a while back i did... it wasnt vtec i dont think... had more stickers than a 3m factory though idiot wouldnt leave me alone he honked the 3rd one dropped to 3rd walked all over him slowed back down when my exit came up he gave me a thumbs up which i almost missed my exit staring in shock
so yeah they do the edzact same thing
VTEC also advances cam timing and does the same as a vvt( varable valve timing) . vvti( variable valve timing intelegence) toyota, etc... every company works the same way... they just advance cam timing and makes the stroke longer/taller so it can pull in more fuel and air....

fully bolted? cams too?

GM VVT doesnt affect the "stroke" at all, it doesnt/cant make it longer or taller. it just moves it around. IE the valve always opens 11mm and stays open for for an hour but sometimes its open from 8-9, and sometimes its open from 8:17-9:17 its infinitely variable in its range, but lift and duration NEVER changes
VTEC doesnt adjust the timing. It has multipe distinct sets of lobes, each of which has its own lift and druation profiles. Its either on or off, theres only 2 choices, it doesnt vary.
i-VTEC is the same as VTEC except it can adjust the timing of the intake cam, like GM VVT does, (GM adjsut int and exh though) but it still onl has an on/off operation for lift.
MIVEC is basically just Mitsu VTEC, same exact principle, its an on/off system the uses to distinct bu non adjustable profiles.
Toyota is the only one I know of that changes, lift, duration AND timing.
VANOS is just BMW VVT(only changes timing, not lift or duration
You might want to do a bit more research, buddy.
LAP is dog-**** slow compared to the L61. They're both slow as *****, but the L61 is definitely faster. I'm not biased either, because I have driven a 2.2 LAP, 5-speed manual, like my car, and it wasn't peppy at all. It sucked.
