Its been done with a LSJ. Not a 2.2. You will need to swap the entire wire harness as well.

Agreed, take the $3-5K and put it towards a SS/TC. You will have a much more reliable setup.

Too much electrical bullshit to deal with, especially when trying to do the auto to manual swap. These cars do not like trans swaps at all. The only somewhat successful Manual to Auto swap was on a SS/TC, and they ended up going back to the F35. The Auto to manual swaps are even more difficult since the computers expect to receive input from the 4T45E, so when it suddenly doesn't see the trans, it flips out.

Your best bet is to build the LAP and keep the 4T45E (Use B&M Shift+ or have the TCM tuned by Trifecta when you get you tune done). The LSJ's M62 and Intake Manifold will fit, and you can also turbocharge it. You will have to keep in mind that the LAP's rods are not forged, so you'll need to take care of that if you are wanting to go above ~250hp.

I'm betting it'd be closer to $7k. Either way it'd be well over half what the car's even worth.
