Engine/Trans Problems? Help please

I just started to notice this about an hour ago. When I give it a little gas it doesn't pull as “hard” as it should and when I get in to 3rd gear it seems like the engine is just revving and I'm not speeding up. No cel's or anything, no codes (I don't think, not sure how to check) only mod to the engine is a k&n typhoon that I had installed in the summer. Car is a 2009, I'm automatic as well. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Could be a trans issue. Unfortunently most of this forum including me has no idea how auto trans works. Lol. Sorry.

trans is prolly slipping id check fluid level and condition low fluid level can cause alot of weird things to go one with a auto trans ie hard shifts or slipping irractic down shifiting etc how many miles do you have on it

I second warrenty. dont even bother trying to fix it. an air intake will not void warrenty, if you feel like the dealer will be a dick, throw the stock one back on, but bring it in. cause checking the fluids is a pain in the ass when GM made the auto trans fluid to last the lifetime of the vehicle. aka no dip stick.

So unless your mechanically inclined, take it in for warrenty.
