Exhaust Position

After installing my Magnaflow Cat-back and getting it positioned the best i possibly could, it still seems like the exhaust tip is touching the bumper. Anyone else had this problem? Is it possible to just get two longer rubber hangers to drop it down 1/2"? Any ideas or suggestions?

Nah, i'm in the dorm and my car is like 1/2 a mile away and it's 10 degrees out lol

But maybe to clarify, the top of the exhaust tip is touching the very top of the cut-out hole in the bumper. I'm just looking for a way to drop the muffler down enough so that it isn't touching it.

Yes I ran into the same problem with my tsudo exhaust. Just go to a napa store or pep boys and get longer rubber hangers and it'll fit fine afterthat. Also i would'nt drive the car anywhere until you get the hangers because you might burn your bumper from the exhaust heat thats what happend to me unfortunately and I had to get my bumper fixed later on.

That's exactly what i'm afraid of. So yeah i'll just run over to Advanced or Oriely's and see what i can come up with!

Olivecj, any idea what length the new hangers you got were?

Can you loosen up the clamps for the rearmost piece and slide it out further or slide it in further? Adjusting that joint should move the exhaust a bit and allow the tip to clear...

Nope, i've tried everything haha. My only choice is really to get longer hangers, i just wasn't sure where to go to get them or how long of ones i should get!

All I did was take one of my stock hangers with me and then matched it up to ones that were longer. That made it alot easier to get the ones I needed because I had a guide to go by.
