Thanks. It was a fun project and the end result was really good. I just have to get the clutch fixed.

anything from a GT2860RS to a GT3071R.

Depends on if you want power or response.

go research!

You can't really get something that's good in all 3 unless you plan on swapping out parts/tunes every weekend.

This is correct. If you have them side by side you'll notice the difference... much.

What ALL do I need. You told me what kind of turbo, but what are the parts i would need? Obviously i would need a kit, but where do i go with the electrical and what engine modifications would i need? I was wanting to comp cam it, put in some 9.5:1 pistons and rods, flywheel, clutch, and ect.. Please anyone help me i would appreciate any kind of help thanx and god bless!

I'm sure a turbo thread would be a better place to ask that...

I never got a clutch. It got cold here and snowing so I drove the Hummer. I can daily drive the car, but if I want to punch it to pass someone or push the throttle down at cruising the clutch starts slipping pretty bad. It didn't do that until I installed the cold air intake and the 2.9 pulley.

I ordered a Spec Stage 2+ clutch today. We'll see what happens then. It will probably snap an axle.

i'd get some OTTP or TTR tranny mounts to keep your axles alive. better to prevent spending $800 later by buying $250 in parts now. Course, being a parts dealer, i suppose OEM axles are a bit cheaper for you

.my stock clutch was on the car for 11.5months...when i took it out after all the slippage i was gettin, the clutch disc was in baaad shape, the rivets were being ground off already...good thing i changed it....im still the process of breaking the excedy stgII in...but so far it doesnt slip at half throttle like the stock one did...i know interview had the spec stg2+ with his 2.8 and it ran good...

TTR now makes rotated trans mounts just like OTTP, only a lot cheaper...those would be the best, but the inserts are a good in between.

lol, nothing's wrong with them. The OTTP ones arent any better....their price just reflects that OTTP did the research in making them. Just because it wasn't TTR's idea and they didnt have to pay for any research by comparison, doesnt mean its made any less.

Course with your sig i can see where this will go. as far as im concerned TTR made a 100% replica of a known working part and is charging less for it.

regardless, this thread is not about any of this, and merely about controlling gene's wheelhop
