Goodbye L61 Hello LAP

well i just traded in my 2007 L61 for a 2009 LAP... good news is all bolt ons will transfer. Kinda excited to see what this VVT will do! Only reason i did it was because i got a wicked good deal on it! Now i Just have to learn this car!

That is the reason I supercharged. This LAP and any other non supercharged just doesn't have enough highway pickup for me. It was totally worth the money for me and is totally a different car now.

Nice to see another member in this section, its far too quite.

I'm @ a crossroads with mine, not sure if I want to bother modding it since it is an auto.

havent had an issue. the 4t45 is rated for 325ft-lbs of torque.... so i have a ways to go before i even need to consider upgrading it. Even then though, you know GM gave it a pretty decent safety margin. Celicacobalt daily drove his 425ft-lb stock tranny car for 11 months before it finally gave out. I dont plan on having torque numbers quite that high

nt really from any one specific source, but ive come to know a pretty decent amount about what the stock motor/tranny can take, how to build it, etc. Ive just been doing a lot of reading on here (putting more focus into what high power enthusiasts (ie paul, area, or people like maven that have a GM tech background) and vendors recommend) in the last 3 years ive been here. All the vendors are pretty helpful and knowledgeable. Hell, ive been talking to Karo lately about his recommendations for piston CR on my future build

I am at 3000, but I upgraded to the LSJ header and downpipe and I powerdercoated the supercharger and got a new valve cover and powdercoated it, etc.
