How to identify SAI

I have a 09 LT and am looking for a header. I keep hearing about this emission SAI and how the aftermarket headers dont have the provisions for it. I took my heat shield off and looked for it on the manifold, yet I can't seem to find it. I even ran my hand under it to no success. Can someone tell me how to find it. I plan to copy the design onto the aftermarket header, but I need to find it before I can design a new one.

In the morning or on start up after a long break, it will sound like a vaccum cleaner

You might not have it. The easiest way to tell is to look for an extra line going to your intake. On the airbox where the filter is there will be the intake hose and if you have SAI you will have another smaller hose connected there.

No hose. So, will the 05-06 non SAI style header work for me?
