LAP being left out?

Does anyone else feel like the 2.2L, but LAP's in particular, are being left out? What i mean is you dont really see a lot of parts for 2.2l. yea they are mostly interchangeable but i fee like there are more parts being labeled towards the 2.4 and the 2.0s which is understandable seeing those are all considered super sport. Just something that popped into my mind when looking around at parts and seeing if anyone has built up a LAP. Any reason to why we're being "left out". Maybe im looking in the wrong places for parts? Thoughts?

the ls lt and xfe are meant for fuel economy. the ss is a tuner type, not bashing you or anything but there just isnt as much aftermarket for the 2.2L

idk what you expect?

Bolt ons, tunes, turbo and S/C kits, and nitrous are available.

The only thing would be cams that arent available.

You have to dig around for the N/A Eco's performance information - Ecotec forum and such. Some of the 2.4 stuff will bolt up; if you're starting with the base stuff, sometimes you have to get real creative!

What exactly about the cams that won't bolt up with the 2.4? I'm not that familiar with the LAP - are they that radical that the cams can't be finagled?

Comp Cams makes a stage one and two for the 2.2....... theres a dude on youtube that has the set up i think his name is tom? just check it out..... my thing is if your gonna spend enough to buy cams get them installed ( because they are a bitch to do yourself) and then play with some of your internals to make it work why not slap on a super or turbo charged kit and get yourself some forced induction just my two cents but to each their own i geuss

Not for the LAP. VVT = no cams available.

MIGHT be possible to use ZZP LE5 cams on the LAP since the heads (and maybe cams) are identical.
