lap intake manifold

Ok I've been beating myself up since last night.. I was hanging with a friend that has a 06 2.4 cobalt ss. He was cleaning the engine bay when I noticed his intake manifold. Now I have read around the forums many times that our engines (2.2 LAP) have the same intake manifold as the 2.4 .. I parked next to his car and popped my hood open to see if it was true and mine manifold is way smaller. I noticed a yellow smudge on my intake mani and it looks like a mark from a junkyard which makes me think the previous owner of my car pulled a switch on my car. I will post a pic of my manifold tomorrow but can anyone post pics of their LAP manifold? I think they might have replaced mine with.the l61 manifold

actually you have the new style 2.4 mani. It is a two piece design. The old intake mani's like your friends is a one piece design. I have pictures of both next to each other somewhere.
