Monroe Quick Struts for 2.4 SS?

Hey guys havent posted on here in ages!...

Anyway, I need front struts on my 2006 2.4 SS. I've been hearing alot about Amazon.com: Monroe 171662L Quick-Strut Complete Strut Assembly: Automotive Monroe Quick Struts. I thought I saw on one sellers website that it works with all model Cobalts and not just the 2.2. Any ideas if they will work?

Don't know if they will fit a 2.4 SS, but either way I would stay away from them.

Monroe is garbage, they will seriously degrade your handling and ride all at the same time.

They are good for Camrys and Tauruses, not sport compacts.

What would you recommend? The Fe5 struts?

Those will fit your ss/na. The quickstruts will come with new springs, which may not have the same spring rate as your ss/na. If you upgrade to an FE5 struts you will need new sway bar end links.
