Question no inercooler

so im thinking about running a turbo on my cobalt and if i had no inercooler what psi would be safe?

thank you


p.s. i know for a fact you can run turbo with no incooler and use low boost.

why not save 200 and just get an intercooler? if your getting a turbo, why the hell would you leave out the intercooler? is there a reason you dont want to use one

I'm sure people are selling the stock TC intercoolers. Would be cheap to pick on up.

Why would you want to risk the engine damage? Running with no intercooler simply makes the charge temps higher, which makes them more prone to detonation.
