Radiator Hose ID?
I was wondering if anyone happens to know the inner diameter of the radiator hose on our cars? I have searched around a bit, but each thread on this topic seems to be a dead end. Looking to add a water temp adapter and need to know the size.
For those of you that are going to say "you know the DIC has the water temp", thanks in advance but I already know that.
I'd appreciate any info on this. I just don't want to rip my radiator hose off and lose coolant/add air to my lines just to measure when I am going to have to put it back on and take it off again later on.

Well the hose is at max a 1/4 inch thick, so measure the outer dimension, and subtract 1/2 an inch. That should work. And being that you'd have to clamp it on, there should be no problems.
If I'm correctly thinking of what your are planning on doing. Which I assume it is cut the hose in half and add in a sleeve so you can thread in a sensor.
