So the intake?

I have read a few different threads on here about "don't get this one, this one doesnt fit" kinda things. So i was wondering before spending the money is it even worth getting an intake? or would it be better to just get a brand new filter for the box? i told myself i would do the intake but i dont want to spend weeks trying to make something fit, and just getting more and more pissed off. so any insight would be great. thanks.

CAI, your filter will not sit low enough to take on water, unless you try to turn the car into a boat or submarine.

i got my K&N today. Dude its awesome. I got about a 10hp gain from it and my car SCREAMS at 4500rpms. You can definatley tell even at 2,300 rpms. All you half to do is cut the one rubber tube smaller because it will have a kink in it.

I would get a K&N if I were you. Theyre are worth it, especially if you get a good deal on it. I got mine for $140 and got it installed. between the gas and tolls, the total cost was $160.
