It depends on miles and condition but I'd say 8k maybe.

DUDE. There is a website where you can find ALL of these things out. Trade in value, private party and dealer retail price.

cobalts are a dime a dozen...they dont hold value

$10,500 for a trade in is a good deal, your dumb not to take that lol. Kbb trade in value for your car in excellent condition is only $9500. So they offered you 1,000 over blue book.

If you sell is private party, check the price through KBB.com.. if you trade in, you need to use Galves.com(and yes you need to pay for it). But that is what the dealerships use. And yes that site always quotes you A LOT less then KBB.com

i got offered 9500 for my 09 with 40k miles on it but i also had wheels intake exhaust short shifter tint and lowered and not a thing wrong with it. looked like it was still brand new... when i had 15k miles on it they were going to trade me straight across for an 08 ss/tc just because they wanted it off the lot... i couldnt afford insurance at the time

my trade in for 07 2.2 with 28k was $9,500 i paid 11k for it new.
It has also been hit by a deer in the rear quarter and the repair workmanship wasn't very good...sad thing it was a dealer who did the body work.
