Would a supercharger from an older SS work on the newer vvt 2.2? Would anything require major over hualing? I know I would do a forged bottom end and all but would it bolt up and would anything require something crazy to pull this off? I'm in college and trying to build this to the best I can with out destroying my walet lol. (its gonna be impossible I know) Thank yall again for all the assistance.

 

What year is your 2.2? Using LS2 Edit I can do the whole thing for $2800 installed and tuned. You wouldn't need a forged bottom end and you would make another 100hp easily.

 

2009 ls Cobalt. Why would it cost that much to find a wrecked SS and take the supercharger?

It's more complex than just getting the actual SC. Where are you in VA?

 

I'm from Warrenton area. But I am current in college in Pa at the moment. I know its more complex then just that you have to do fuel system and tuneing and stuff.
