what are your goals with the car ?

a lot of people ask about this or that but really dont consider the later plans with the car and spend money they dont need to trying to get a short term fix with a quick mod.

I really don't have any specific goal I'm trying to reach...like a 13.9 1/4 mile or anything like that. But just wanting to improve throttle response and acceleration a little bit. I do not plan on going the F I route with this car.

if throttle response improvement is one of your goals, you'll get it with the typhoon. i've tried more than one CAI and i LOVE my typhoon. i am a SC guy though. still, until i got this intake i thought k&n was just a name that added to the price, but they back it up.

I have one (short Ram) and I like it just fine. Shows a noticeable improvement in throttle response, better power and a little better gas mileage if you drive it right. It's a start, and I think it's worth the money...

I have a K&N SRI on my 2008 Cobalt LT. And I have noticed a slight difference. If you want an inexpensive way to increase throttle response and acceleration put an exhaust system on with an intake and look into getting a custom grounding kit.
hit up NicHaulAss Performance | Facebook for the ground kits.
