Its been some time since i last posted on here and a few things have changed with the LT XD here are some pics.

the cam/valve cover on the LAP is not the same shape as the L61 motor wich is shown in the instruction papers they give you...



also had to make a ''belt'' to stop the intake from rubbing XD

Lol. I'm so glad someone else was thinking the same thing.

 

Mine is just installed no problems. Is that an auto? Mine is a manual and I've heard the engine is mounted a bit different. Only problem I had was I actually had to buy a MAF extender because it wouldn't reach.

 

No just had the muffler taken off and header put on still have all my cats and resonators

 

ugh that must sound like hell.

and if that intake is installed correctly, the LAP guys should probably buy the 2.4 intake. as they use the same head/valvecover.

I hit 5.5k and it sounds like a jackhammer. At least how I describe it maybe I'll record from my phone when driving onto the highway tomorrow.
