info about the point of tuning.

so.. is there any real point to get your car tuned with out being boosted?
do you really notice it any difference when your driving around or getting into it? I don't want to throw out the cash and it not be worth it

you make a little power and you probably get better gas economy depending on how its tuned. If you have an intake and exhaust, its probably got some value to it. If your AFRs are off because of the intake then the tune helps keep the car lasting.

mostly on a car with just a few bolt ons, its worth it... for the bump in power and have the car running well with the mods... think its only good for 10 or so horse

so for an na it mainly makes sure your car is running safe with what it has done, and how can you tell if your AFR is off?

Basically in stock form the 2.4 ad 2.2 engines don't really make power before 5k for quite a few reasons. If tuned properly though the power band can be greatly expanded, power throughout the range will be increased and the car can all around will just be more fun and to an extent actually safer to drive.

As far as knowing how to tell if your afr's are off. One word.... wideband

You can defiantly feel a tune on an NA car. If the tune is any good of course.

Even increasing shift pressures and disabling the throttle body opening delay bullshit make a tune worth it. Oh yeah and maxing out the speed limiter.

one simply does not keep the limiter on their car.

also high speeds are fun, and a nice adrenaline rush, I've been up to 150-155mph in the challenger before, the only reason why I slowed was because of the slight body lift and there was an exit coming up and with my luck there would have been a cop.
