Weekend Project

Going to be installing my BadMab header, my ZZP Downpipe, and my MPX Crank Pulley tomorrow.... any tips or tricks for any of them? Anything I should pay attention to etc.

Also going to be painting my valve cover, any tips?

Thanks!

1. make sure your car is cold

2. take you valve cover off

3. lay a clean towel/rag over your exposed valve train to limit how much crap falls in it.

4. unplug all o2 sensors, remove old header and downpipe, and pull up and out

5. assemble your header and downpipe first then slide it in from the top of the engine once the valve cover is off.

Thanks for the help guys! And yeah I figured I've been wanting to paint the valve cover anyways, so now is a good time to take it off... itll help make the header install easier.

UPDATE:

Got the valve cover off, and all the header bolts out, but the three bolts that connect the donwpipe to the header are STUBBORN AS HELL and won't back out.... Plus it's an awkward angle for the ratchet.. I just soaked them in PB Blaster and I'm gonna let them sit over night... any suggestions?
