Worth the money in your opinion?

If you're a tuning whiz or a do-it-yourselfer with a couple months to spare, access to a dyno and a wideband to data log - you could go the trial and error route using HP Tuners.
But I think the best way to go (for those with limited time and/or tuning ability), other than a live tune at Tune Time or Westers, is to buy one of their canned tunes; and then pay for a dyno tune at your local speed shop to dial it in to your particular car and application. This would give you the perfect tune, suited to your particular taste and temperment. The more mods you have, the more important this would be. IMHO

I live in MD so I guess a drive to Jersey for a live tune would be the absolute best huh?
Wonder how much that runs? I think I'm giving myself a Christmas present this year.
Thanks man!

Remember, buying a piano doesn't make you a concert pianist.
Yes, you can learn to play, but I'd rather just buy a CD and listen to a professional.
But that's just me.

Has anyone posted up suggested TCM settings for the cobalt 2.4 - maybe in a hp tuner's forum? Or does everyone have to start from scratch? For instance, if I wanted to compare my Wester's TCM settings to yours; would this be possible?

none of you guys has any pre tune 1/4 times? Love to see a before and after insturmented time--rather then, "it feels faster"
Although I suspect it (Wester tune) would help the auto--it did zero for the 5 speed 2.4

Ok so why won't Tune Time return my e-mails? And Ludichrist dropped off the face of the Earth too? What gives?
Damn I REALLY want this but I can't get ahold of anyone that can do it! This sucks! You guys know anybody else?

And to the other guy, I have pre-tune times from the 1/4 and post-tune times for mine as well. But my tune was completely custom. I dropped over half a second in the 1/4 with my tune.

I'll have to find a pre-tune slip and scan it. That time above is the 3rd fastest for a 2.4L on this site. It's also the fastest for a 2.4L Auto, period.

I love it, especially the auto tranny part.
