so i think around tax time in gonna do a build i kinda wanna do forged rods and pistons but idk what to go with i wanna be able to do like a 100-125 shot im gonna do a clutch while i have it out also any ideas on what i should do as far as rods pistons possibley cams valve spings etc

 

I firmly believe that the stock motor with a proper tune and setup could withstand a 100-125 shot for a while.

Better to be safe and get some pistons and rods like you suggested. I wouldn't drop compression ratio any. Get some good H beam rods. Seems to be some cam controversy(sp?) right now.

 

GL, I'm hoping to start my build around the same time. Slowly buying parts for my car.
